ABOUT SUMMER CAMP

TCC’s Summer Camp is done in partnership with New Orleans Recreation Department (NORD). During the seven weeks of summer camp, more than 60 campers experience:

  • Makerspace classes 

  • Vacation Bible School curriculum

  • Sign Language

  • Girl Scouts

  • Yoga

  • Junior Achievement

  • Black History

  • Recreation

  • Water Games and more!

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the dates of Summer Camp? 

Monday - Friday, June 7- July 23, 2021. We are closed July 5-6, 2021.

What ages do you accept? 

5-12 years old. All campers must be potty-trained. 

​

What are the hours of camp? 

8:30 AM - 3:30 PM 

​

Do you offer before or after care? 

Yes! We know you have to work. Before care is 7:30 - 8:30 AM, after care is 3:40 - 5:00 PM. 

​

This costs money right? 

Yes, we ensure small class sizes and trained adults to supervise and instruct your campers.

Camp registration is $10/camper, camp is $30/week, on an income based, sliding scale. Before care is $3/day, after care is $5/day or you can get both for $30/week. 

​

Will campers wear masks?

Yes, all campers and staff will wear masks to be as safe as possible.

 

Do I need to know anything else?  

Yes, there is a mandatory in-person parent orientation June 1 at 5:30 PM or June 2 at 6:00 PM. You may go to either, but each camper MUST have one adult present at one of the two orientation.
